AM2C Floor Lamp by Nemo

The thoroughly modern Nemo Franco Albini AM2C Floor Lamp was originally designed by Albini and associates back in 1969. While as tall and slim as any self-respecting torchiere, the thick stem gives the AM2C a more stout, sturdy presence. The deep bowl-shaped White Opal glass shade sheds a vibrant ambient glow that's enhanced by the stem and base's glossy Chrome finish. Founded in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini in Italy, Nemo was established to recreate the lighting pieces that best represented the "Golden Age" of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and '70s. Nemo acquired ItalianaLuce five years later, offering a line of clean, relaxed modern lighting that provided an informal counterpoint to the vintage mid-century authenticity found in Nemo's modernist line of Franco Albini-designed lighting.
