Melete Wall Sconce by Artemide

The Artemide Melete Wall Sconce is at once bright, white, smooth and sharp. It is a rectangular box of die-cast aluminum designed to focus the majority of light up and across the wall. However, a smooth oval opening on the bottom provides a decorative focal point and allows for a gentle wash of downlight. Since 1959, Artemide has created a wide array of modern table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces and suspensions. Technologically advanced, and with styles ranging from clean and refined to sculptural and avant garde, many Artemide designs--especially the Tolomeo and Tizio--have become icons of contemporary lighting design.
